Terms of Service
Terms applicable to JG Electric estimates, invoices, and electrical services.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Past-due balances may be subject to applicable late fees, interest, and collection costs as permitted by law.
Scope of Work
This invoice or estimate covers only the work, materials, and services described. Any additional work, repairs, or customer-requested changes require approval and may result in additional charges.
Workmanship Warranty
JG Electric warrants its workmanship for one (1) year from the date of completion unless otherwise stated in writing. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, alterations, damage caused by others, or acts of nature. Manufacturer warranties apply separately to materials and equipment when applicable.
Materials & Equipment
Materials and equipment supplied by JG Electric are covered only by the manufacturer's warranty, when applicable. Customer-supplied materials or equipment are excluded from JG Electric's workmanship warranty.
Access & Site Conditions
The customer agrees to provide safe access to the work area. Concealed conditions, hidden wiring, code violations, or other unforeseen conditions discovered during the work may require additional labor or materials and may result in additional charges.
Drywall & Finish Repairs
Every effort will be made to minimize damage while performing the work. However, drywall cutting or access holes may be necessary. Drywall repair, patching, painting, texture matching, and finish work are not included unless specifically stated.
Permits & Inspections
Permits and inspections are included only when specifically listed in the estimate or invoice. Approval by an inspector does not extend or replace the workmanship warranty.
Scheduling & Cancellations
Appointments canceled or rescheduled after materials have been ordered or work has been scheduled may be subject to charges for labor, materials, or special-order items already committed.
